The fact that women's social position is the basic indicator of social development and modernization is still a fundamental problem for women living in Turkey in the 21st century. Gender studies are among the most studied topics in human sciences together with modernism and postmodernism. The reason is that the issue of gender has not been explained by biological sex. This study addresses the problems of women working in a government agency in Adana in the context of gender inequality. Eight women participated in the study, and a semi-structured interview was conducted to collect data. After the data were collected, women's problems were categorized into content analysis. Among the categories that are obtained without working, the problems that the participants live the most are belonging, bureaucracy, timelessness, working environment, acceptance while in-service training, psychological and institutional communication problems are less common. Therefore, research into social gender problem in different foundations, public or private, needs to be conducted by taking various variables into consideration.},author={Özlem AYDOĞMUŞ ÖRDEM},year={2016},journal={Çukurova Araştırmaları Dergisi }}
