Abstract
Yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi, ülkemize özellikle Suriye’den gelen mültecilerle birlikte daha da ön plana çıkmış ve bu doğrultuda Suriyeli öğrencilerin ikinci bir dil olarak Türkçe öğrenmeye yönelimleri artmıştır. Suriyeli öğrencilerin Türk eğitim sistemine katılımı, uyum sağlaması, eğitim-öğretim ihtiyaçlarının belirlenerek giderilmesi amacıyla çalışmalar yapılmış ve çeşitli projeler hazırlanmıştır. “Suriyeli Çocukların Türk Eğitim Sistemine Entegrasyonunun Desteklenmesi Projesi (PIKTES)” bu çalışmalar sonucu geliştirilmiş bir projedir. PIKTES bağlamında öğrencilere yönelik farklı kaynaklar hazırlanmıştır. Değerler eğitimi, birçok ülkenin eğitim müfredatında yer alan, toplumu oluşturan dinamikleri öğretmeyi benimseyen önemli bir yapıdır. Ülkemizde MEB’in hazırladığı Değerler Eğitimi Yönergesi bu alanda temel başvuru kaynağı olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada; “Suriyeli Çocukların Türk Eğitim Sistemine Entegrasyonunun Desteklenmesi Projesi (PIKTES)” kapsamında hazırlanan “Salih Hikâye Serisi”nin değerler eğitimi bakımından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada verilerin incelenmesinde doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Söz konusu hikâyelerde değer ifadesi taşıyan cümleler, ilgili değer kategorisi altında toplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda Salih Hikâye Serisi’nde en sık “Sevgi”, “Aile Birliğine Önem Verme”, “Selamlaşma”, “Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma”, “İyilik Yapma”, “Nazik Olmak” ve “Misafirperverlik” gibi değerlerin kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. En az yer verilen değerlerin ise “Saygı”, “Bağımsız ve Özgür Düşünebilme”, “Estetik Duyguların Geliştirilmesi”, “Vatanseverlik”, “Paylaşımcı Olma” ve “Kültürel Mirasa Sahip Çıkma” değerleri olduğu; “İyimserlik”, “Alçakgönüllülük”, “Fedakarlık”, “Empati” ve “Adil Olma” değerlerine de hiç rastlanmamıştır.

Teaching Turkish as a foreign language has come to the fore with the presence of refugees coming to our country, mainly from Syria, and in this direction, Syrian students' orientation to Turkish as a second language has increased. Studies have been carried out, and various projects have been prepared to ensure the participation and adaptation of Syrian students to the Turkish education system and identify and meet their educational needs. “Project for Supporting the Integration of Syrian Children into the Turkish Education System (PIKTES)” is a project developed from these studies. In the context of PIKTES, different resources have been prepared for students. Values education is a vital structure in the education curricula of many countries and adopts teaching the dynamics that make up the society. The Values Education Directive prepared by the Ministry of National Education is used as the main reference source in this field in our country. This study aimed to examine the "Salih Story Series" prepared within the scope of the "Project for Supporting the Integration of Syrian Children into the Turkish Education System (PIKTES)" in terms of values education. In this study, document analysis was used to analyze the data. The sentences bearing the value expression in the stories as mentioned earlier were grouped under the relevant value category. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the most used values in the Salih Story Series are "Love", "Caring for Family Unity", "Greeting", "Helping and Solidarity", "Doing Good", "Being Kind" and "Hospitality". The least used values are "Respect", "Independent and Free Thinking", "Development of Aesthetic Feelings", "Patriotism", "Being Sharing" and "Preserving Cultural Heritage"; It was determined that the value of “Optimism”, “Humility”, “Sacrifice”, “Empathy” and “Being Fair” were not included at all.
