Abstract

Ethical climate plays an important role in establishing a competitive environment. Understanding how employees perceive the organizational climate is only possible with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) understanding their own management problems and generating solutions. Understanding the climate in an organization is an important step in examining the management process and attaining health. The level of employee satisfaction in SMEs is one of the most important factors that lead to customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is thought that determining the ethical climate and satisfaction levels of the employees in the SMEs will guide the management practices of the managers. The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of organizational ethical climate on job satisfaction (satisfaction from job environment, satisfaction from job content). Within the scope of the research, a field research was conducted on 150 personnel working in SMEs operating in Gaziantep. As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between organizational ethical climate and job satisfaction.
